A motorized window shade replaces the manual chain or cord with a small, quiet motor built into the roller tube. From there, the shade can be raised, lowered, or stopped at any point using an app, a handheld remote, a wall switch, or your voice.
Every motor is paired to the Homeglow app during installation, so you can control shades individually or in groups — "Living Room," "All Bedrooms," or the whole house at once — right from your phone.
Because the system is built around industry-standard connectivity, it also links directly to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so a single spoken command can open, close, or set a shade to any position.
